But First !! A big ‘Thank you’ to artist Guy Pitt !

I am very grateful to our friend and neighbour, artist Guy Pitt, who took this picture from his house, two doors away from ours. His picture shows me taking photographs from exactly where I stood in the Parade Gardens, Barry (in very different weather!) when I took the very top picture on this page.

A word about the pictures at the top of each page (the ‘Headers’)

Every picture (‘Header’) at the top of each page of this website was photographed from somewhere close to our house where I have my studio. Unlike most of the pictures on this site, these ‘Headers’ do not enlarge when ‘clicked’.

Apart from the ‘Header’ images, if you click on any picture on this website, an enlargement will open on the ‘Attachment Page’ for each Webpage. This ‘Attachment Page’ has a Link back to its ‘Parent’ Webpage. This is further explained on this  ‘Attachment Page’ Link.

Also, when you enter an ‘Attachment Page’ by clicking on an image to see its enlargement, you will see little (named) arrows to the lower right and/or lower left of each enlarged picture. These arrows, one by one, link to all the pictures on that Web Page. You will often find extra information and ‘bonus’ pictures and information that is found only on the Attachment Page!

Links and Tabs. . . .

As an internet user, you will be familiar with ‘Links’, words highlighted in blue or purple. These links will take you either to another page of this website, or to an external website. My website opens external links in a new window, while still keeping my website ‘open’ on your computer, visible as a ‘Tab’ in the top left-hand corner of your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, or etc.).
